Becs 30th birthday!

Today was Becs birthday IN AFRICA! So I wanted for us to do something really special for the occasion, so we are in Masai Mara National Park in Kenya taking in Gods Beautiful creation with the Animals!! How cool!
It was a perfect day, the Breakfast dining room sung happy birthday to Bec, we had a perfect blue sky day which peaked at about 30 degrees. We saw every animal imaginable, even some rare ones: Here is today's list of animals spotted:
Lioness
Male lion
9 cubs
Elephants
Giraffes
25 Hippos
Cheetah
Leopard on grass and up a tree
Giselle's
Thompson Giselle
Jackals
Hyinas
Deer
Wilderbeasts
Guinea fowl
Turtle
Secretary bird
Stork
Eagle
Meerkat
Warthog
Antipope
African buffalo
Plains zebra
Impala
Topi

The only thing we hope to see tomorrow is a Rhino, but if it dosnt happen we don't care, we feel blessed to have seen the rest. I expected that we may only see about half of the list!
Then this afternoon we visited the local Masai Mara Tribes village. It was a great experience, Bec became a Masai woman with the Chiefs Son putting red Henna on her cheeks, then I got to do the Jumping Dance with the men. Then Bec and I were chosen by the chiefs son to have a look in the Chiefs house. This was really cool, it's made out of sticks and mud, has 4-5 rooms in it, the baby cows and baby goats sleep in their own rooms next to the bed and the 6 kids sleep in one wooden bed, no mattress. The chief has 5 wives and he spends one night with each in a different house then repeat. The men can have as many wives as they can afford. A wife costs between 6 and 10 cows depending on how high you can jump!,
The higher the cheaper!
It was a great day and Bec had a lot of fun, :) Tomorrow morning we do an early morning safari to see even more animals
Kenya is pretty awesome...
