Went to a cool cliff filled national park

I have finally got around to writing up my posts from 3 years ago! If your wondering why my last few posts are in 2016 but the ones before it were 2013! It just shows how busy life is, I think it's awesome to remember the great times Bec and I had, the memories are still fresh, I'll blog about what happened in 2014 and 2015 when I get to it! Haha

Anyways back to Colorado, we went to devil canyon national park, it was cool and had a cool story, the park was donated by one guy back to the national parks. It a amazing that someone would do that.

The highway of Garage sales

Well I have been known to love garage sales. Well it just happened to turn out that the exact highway we were driving in for 800 km to get from the farm west to Colorado Springs was having it's annual garage sale weekend! So every single town on that highway was set up with garage sales, it was crazy. So much fun to travel along and stop at a lot of them, I bought a few things including 2 Polaroid SX-70 cameras for $15 and $20 each. I then kept the best one and sold the other one on eBay for $110 USD
It was really cool to travel along to Colorado, as there is not much else to sight see, very flat on this stretch, we also found a cool chrome highway diner to have a coffee and pie at.
Were about to hit the Rocky Mountains...

Burr Oak Kansas (back home on the farm) :)

Bec and I had a wonderful four nights staying with my 1998 host parents Brad and Colleen Jeffery. It was great to spend some quality time with them. We shot guns, drove Corvettes and went to some of the best yard sales in America! It was a great time. Hopefully they will come to Australia one of these days!

Laurence Kansas

Stayed with my host bro Scott and his lovely wife Christina, it was a great time, we went to a K State Game and heard about the story where Scott sold a car for  $8,000 worth of Starbucks gift cards!

Kansas City

Loved our few days in Kansas City, highlights were the art gallery with giant shuttle cock, Kelleys recommended Mexican place and ice cream sandwiches from trader joes! Mmm

Branson MO

We have spent a few days in Branson, it's a really interesting place sort of like a mini Midwest Los Vegas. We stayed at a Days in with good breakfast and saw many touristy places including a replica of the titanic Restaraunt. We met some college students who were at on of the only colleges in America where you work to pay for your tuition as you study.
